Maybe Corydoras rabauti but the pink on the side could mean a man made glo cory.

The fins are clamped and it looks like it is covered in excess mucous. Check the water quality and maybe do a gravel clean and big water change.

It just arrived an hour ago so it is ilkely stressed. I had to release it into the aquarium to get a 1/2 decent picture due to lighting. So yes it is very stressed but should be ok in a couple of hours.

The place i purchased it from is fairly reliable and so i doubt it is a glo cory but the lighting might be providing more illumination through the fish making the tones a bit warmer.

Could it be Corydoras zygatus

Osteogaster rabauti. Snout is rounder than zygatus

Another difference is C. zygatus's horizontal stripe does not continue into the caudal fin near the peduncle

I don't see the stripe going into the tail, to me it looks like it's not even close to the end of the caudal penduncle. It could be I'm not seeing it well enough or just because the fish is stressed. It seems more pink than bronze too, stress or age or species?

We had rabauti maybe 30+ years ago & while ours had rounded noses maybe not quite like yours AFAIR. Its tail seems longer too. Does it seem adult size? Rabauti are a bit smaller than some corys.

Maybe wait until it adjusts to your tank, then you might be better able to tell. With more pics of course, we want to see!

Here is an updated picture of the fish for those who are curious:

so, is that supposed to be one of these, that are available at Dan's right now??? ( not that you purchased them at Dan's, but often when a fish is available from one seller, they are also, from other sellers, that use the same wholesalers )

That fish is not aspidoras raimundi, that's a much smaller and different genus altogether. Though, both are excellent fish :p

I have no doubts that this fish is osteogaster rabauti. Nice fish, it'll color up very nicely.
