Well, we cleaned the whole tank including the filter. We had to re do the whole tank to get rid of that soul n sand mix my wife put in the tank to grow the plants
How did you clean the filter? If you just rinsed the media in old tank water or even new dechlorinated water, the bacteria in the media will still be there. But if you used a more aggressive form of cleaning you may find you need to re-cycle the tank.

I had some water from the tank in a bucket so I wasedh it n cleaned it in that bucket
In that case, the bacteria in the filter should be alive. Put the fish back in the tank, but test for ammonia and nitrite every day. If either ever read above zero do a water change.

Ok thanks for your advice.
I'm gonna give em another day bcause I had to chase em for a while with the net yesterday n a couple of them are weak so I don't wanna stress em out again.
Few months ago I was trying to get a serpae tetra n out of the blue it had a heart attack n dropped to the bottom. I stressed it out until it died that episode is still upsetting me bcause I killed it. So I don't want that to happen again

Well even when my wife and I agreed not to add fish into the tank for a few days to make sure it's OK she went n bought 4 girls n put em in the tank which upset me so I did a ammonia, nitrites n nitrates test and praise God they all came 0.
So hopefully these girl will survive n have a happy life

How many females do you now have? This is a 20 gallon tank, isn't it? I would not put more than half a dozen in a 20 gallon as each female needs to be able to get away from all the others.

Well after all the deals we have 3 healthy ones and 2 sick ones n my wife got 4 more. So 9 I total . The tank is a 36 gallons

I must have mixed your tank up with someone else's 
In a 36 gallon, I would stay with just the ones you have, no more.
Female bettas don't live together in nature, so having a group in the confines of a tank means that there should be somewhere for each one to get away from the others. The more there are, the less chance there is for any individual to be alone.

Thank you for your advice. So far bfore this terrible nitrate problem n all the deaths of my girls. We had luck with the girls living together. When we have our queen B she ran the tank pretty good. When there was a bully in the tank bullying the others specially the smaller ones our queen B would chase her around the tank to showed her who was the boss n would protect the other ones from being bullied. Keep an extra close eye on the ammonia and nitrite as you've increased the stocking. From your description it sounds like they've gone straight into the tank without quarantine so you'll have to be vigilant for any illnesses that may pop up.
