Hello all newbie here, I have a question about my 2 Julii Corydoras, ive been told there are false and true Corydora juliis, could anyone identify which one mine are? Thanks

I want to say the one on the left is a female and the one on the right is a male. Females have larger, more rounded belly’s and typically broader than males.
 
C. Trilineatus. Julii's don't have the reticulated dashes pattern, they have dots. False Julii's refer to trilineatus but is an inaccurate common name.
 
'False' is not an approved common name because they have their own name -they are both trilineatus. If you want to simplify trilineatus it would be three-lined corydaoras. Julii are rarer.
 
I would definitely get a few more of them as they are a shoaling fish...
 
I have other types of corydora, 1 Bronze 1 Albino 1 Sterbia, 3 peppered as well as the 2 juliis
