Addicted and in Therapy
As many of you know, my crowntail boy (left in my sig) died the other day. It left a hole, because he was one I really loved. 
However, by some fluke, I was visiting Petco yesterday to buy tank supplies for a neighbor (settin up a tank for her), and of course checked out the bettas. There was a few lovely ones, a delta who had really bad rips (but the first of his tail type I've seen at those stores.. wanted him!), a gorgeous butterfly.. and then him. This fish is spectacular. I've never seen a veil like him. I had a hard time deciding if I should buy him, since I'm going to the betta show very soon, but I'm so glad I did now. He was only a dollar (didn't know that till checkout!), and he's wonderful as far as personality, besides his stunning looks. Healthy and happy already, filling the downstairs bowl where crownie used to be.

The pics make him show up green, but he's really more of a rich turquoise, like in the first pic.
