Goodwill is closed during the lockdowns and I need a much longer light for a 4 foot Long tank. Thanks for the suggestion thoughWhats your budget? Do you have some spare bulbs hanging around? If so, go to your local Goodwill and see if there are any cheap desk clamp lights. (I got mine for just $3-$5)
Goodwill is pretty good on selling you stuff that works, but if they don't work when you bring them home, you have 7 days to return them. (Or at least that's what my Goodwill told me)
If you can get them, clip then on either side of your tank. You may only need one, depending on how big your tank is.
Oh, I see. You could try to move a lamp next to it for the time being.Goodwill is closed during the lockdowns and I need a much longer light for a 4 foot Long tank. Thanks for the suggestion though

It has a little button on the back doesn't appear corroded from the outsideDoes your fixture have a switch.. if so, it may be corroded
push the button in and hold it down for several seconds..see if the light then comes on. Do you use the switch normally or do you have it on a timer?
