Black Molly Gasping At Bottom!

My black molly is doing the same thing I just had an orange molly die from what looks like the same reaction to whatever
She used to be JET black but now looks fading into white around the eyes and head mostly gasping at bottom of tank

If you haven't started a new post for the black molly, check the general hardness (GH) and make sure it is over 250ppm and make sure the pH is above 7.0.

If there are only mollies in the tank you can add rock salt, sea salt or swimming pool salt at a dose rate of 2 heaped tablespoons per 20 litres (5 gallons) of water and keep the salt in there all the time.

Do big water changes and gravel clean the substrate each week to keep the tank clean. And clean filters at least once a month.
