Hi,

I just joined this forum yesterday (newbie intro post here http://fish.orbust.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=45766

I inherited, as part of a house purchase, 2 x 44 gall tanks (stocked). Here a just a few pics of some of the Fish. I particular wanted to get a good pic of "Bette Lynch", my 6" Leopard Loach. No idea if it's Male or Female but as I've named her Bette we'll assume female.

Here she is :

And, for those who don't recognise the name "Bette Lynch" she was a star of the UK long-running Soap "Coronation Street" adn was famous for wearing leopard skin outfits etc. Here is a pic to jog memories ..

My Skunk Loach "Mr Burns" [from Simpsons] is very difficult to catch site of, he is a fairly solitary sole and always hiding in dark places. I just about got him in this pic but it's very poor quality.

Well, OK, I'll post a pics of the 2 x Tanks. As you can see they are built into a bar, a bit 70s I think but I suppose a good use of space :)

Thanks Vip, I had a few good "group" pics of the Cats so I made up the following pic. I have 6 and they are great fun to watch, particularly at feeding time.

Nethius,

The cats are between 5" and 6" long and are great entertainment.

Ben,

Thanks. I see you have Clown Loaches, me also they are perhaps my favourites. I have 1 x 5" and 3 x 2.5" ones but they are all a little sick at the moment with Velvet. I'm in the 2nd day of treatment for them and they are looking better. I wasn't going to post pics as they are not looking their best but using the magic of PSP's Salt & Pepper Filter this one looks OK.

Laura,

No, I didn't build it. We bought this house about 9 weeks ago and it was there when we bought it. The tanks were in pretty bad shape and not many fish but we've done quite a bit recently, put in undergravel filters and quite a few new fish and things are looking a lot better.

Prior to this I have never so much as had a goldfish (that I recall) so it's been quite a steep learning curve that I am only just starting to make.

Thats why I'm so pleased I found these forums.
