Thats a possibility i think, does look like a jullii cory too, but the line, as you mention, is not there in your pic, maybe its a young juvenile and the line is more visible as it grows?
I not kept either specie so am not 100%

Yeah maybe its a reticulated cory that's the closest I've seen to what I have. It looks exactly like a Julii just doesn't have the line, same pattern though. There all fully grown cory, there quite big so its definitely not a juvenile hmmmm.
According to that link i posted earlier and to SF, max length Reticulated cory grows to is 2.4 inches / 6 cm, is that about the size of your cory?

I bet if you get more corys that look similar they will school. I remember reading on another post that someone elses cory fish did that.
