So yesterday I saw a Golden Wonder Killi that wasn't doing to well, and had a small red area on hid back along with a spinal deformity. Today went back with a friend to help her pick out a fish, and this same fish's red spot had turned into a nasty open wound. got him for free and put him in a hospital tank. the preview owner gave it back to Petco for a reason I do not know. All the rest of the fish in that tank looked great and were not aggressive species.

He lost two scales during the ride home (stress or disease?), has a curved side to side spine, and an open wound. I don't know about color sense I don't know his color before hand, but he isn't as bright as most. he has started though to have an odd behavior of just randomly having these spurts of erratic swimming movements around the tank.

Have the heater up high, low PH, and Melaleuca 1.0% for the wound.

So TB, or deformity with a bad wound? If TB, suggested medications? I do have access to injectable antibiotics if best.

I'm afraid I don't know, hopefully someone will come by soon who has an idea. My suspected cases of TB didn't have open wounds with them.

Bent spine can be fish tb, internal parasites, injury, birth defect, vitamin deficiency.

What does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.
\long stringy white poo, clear mucas poo, or red poo can be signs of internal parasites.

Other signs of internal parasites are.
Red inflamed anus.
Swimming on there sides.
Fish will look skinny.
Sunken in belly.

Also internal parasites can cause internal bacterial infection, leading to septicemia.

You need to isolate the sick fish.

He started to have what appeared as seizures yesturday, so I euthanized him.
He had no signs of internal parasites. As for eating, he ate the first day I had him, then stooped. So I never got to see his poop.
And he was isolated the moment I got him.
