Fish Tank For Christmas!

Hi, Heaton Moor is about 5 miles up the A6 from me, I'm in Hazel Grove.

I have been looking at Meleagris on google and have taken a liking to them!

Any ideas where to buy the little fellas?

Here is what they look like! Shame none of my local shops have them!

The CO2 unit I mentioned yesterday is Nutrafin CO2 Natural Plant System made by Hagen - it's on Amazon at £26.99 but I didn't pay that much at my local shop (unusual for Amazon). The fish you show in the pics are very nice - haven't come across them. Have you seen the places on t'internet that deliver fish to your door - they might have them. Delivery charges are expensive if you're not spending over so much money. Good luck!

I investigated the fish on this site. Have a look at the post 2 X Lamprologus Meleagris Free To Suitable Home posted by Sporen. It is from 2009 but the chap has answered my question about them. It sounds as if they are no easy ons to keep but you may want to investigate further.You can find the post by using the search engine at the top of the page using the pull down to choose members.
