Hi All,
Thanks for all you replies, I have attached a photo of one of the babies, this is the oldest at about 2 weeks old.
Have got really great footage of the two paretns doing a spawn dance, which took place over the last 2 months.
Let me know if I can post videos on this site ? it is well worth a look, quiet spectacular.
Thanks, Paul

Trying to find reports of successful tank spawning of these fish are almost impossible. Take lots of pics.
Is there a chance the eggs are from something else?
He said they have hatched...
Hi,
The only other fish I have in the tank are discus, however we are sure it is not them as eggs were scattered on the gravel and only found whilst cleaning the tank.
Thanks, Paul
Just a quick post for some answers on how to raise fry from a ghost knife i've recently had 100 or so eggs, now hatched and wondering for some help on raising them thanks. Anyone.???
are you in UK?
Hi,
No, we are in Australia.
Thanks
ahh right, was gonna say...
We would have driven anywhere in the UK to get a small ghost knife fish, thats all we have been after forEVER!!
Every one we find is like 3" already.
Well done on that, as people say on here, its akmost unheard of.
Well done!
Good luck keeping them.
its a real shame you aren't in the UK.
So what kind of set up do you have then? and were you mating these fish deliberately, or has it just happened?
I remember the first time i had an aquarium as a kid, and i kep fish like guppies etc, and this was before i had heard of a fishless cycle etc, as forums etc were pretty much unheard of, and i hated books!
I was lucky enough not to have any deaths from new tank syndrome, and infact had scores and scores of guppy fry.
after being suspicious that they were pregnant, i went and bought one of those little breeding tanks that sits inside the tank, IT WORKED!!
i was so chuffed cos i was only about 10/11.
