I HAVE looked throught the guide, but these beasties aren't in it :X I popped some veg in my gravel and a few hours later it was covered in tiny (under 1mm) gark green mites. They're too small for the camera to focus on

They didn't come from the veg - i took some gravel out of the tank and left it overnight a few weeks ago and in the morning these guys were all over it D:

Are they dangerous? My fish look fine, but parasites are hard to spot

25L tank with 2 otos and 1 male platy. No live plants, gravel substrate. All stats fine, pH 6.5

They may be dangerous to fish, I would do a water change with a gravel vacuum and try to suck up the parasite up. I can't tell you what the parasites are though. -_-
 
I don't have and never have had snails :X I don't see these guys unless i remove gravel or put vegs in the tank - they're not on the glass, plants, ornaments or surface gravel

I might add some sterazin - how would otos feel about that?
