I hav a question, see i hav stuff growing(i think beacuse there is more and more in my tank)on my tank. the substancce is leathery-like and won't go away. ill send pic in a few mins :)

Not brown algae then...

I really do think you need to get a clear pic using a proper camera

From what I can see that looks like a really nasty lot of gunk all over a plant? It is thick? slimy? what sort of texture/consistancy?
 
How long has the tank been set up?
How many gallons or litre is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

couple of day, been running for a month
14 gal.
5 guppys(1 male, 4 females), 2 swordtails(1 male and 1 female), 2 platies(1 male and 1 female), and 1 corydoras
idk/idk/idk/7.0

its not sticky, but its slimy and it fells like nothing...................u know.......it happened when my guppy went missing........i think he jumped in the filter like my other guppy i had 4 years ago, fifi(look on "my" profile) and all that stuff appeared when he did :unsure: ........(fun facts: i just noticed i typed this with one hand.......lol :fun: )
 
.........................................................................................................................................................................it looks like its growing off the glass of my tank........its really fluffy and hairy(i think thats the same thing.........my fish are picking at it..............oh!, what is the cheapest proper camera can u buy.....???
 
it sound like algae to me.
Scrap it off with a glass magnet scraper.

Also get your water tested.
I would also recommend that you invest in some liquid test kits of your own.
 
idk, it feels soft and it looks like fur...lol....but it does come off like algae, but it doesn't look like algae
