tanks about 1/4 full now

the water is running via the HMA so a bit slower than a normal hose

i run it via the HMA or it would haqve cost close to £100 in tap water conditioner

how much will it cost you in cartridges for the HMA?

i got the 3 stage HMA filter and 4 x sets of cartriges for £96 that should last 18 months - 2 years

i got it from hear

Will you need to remineralise your water on a regular basis like with RO systems?

i would have had fish in this weekend if it wasn't for them messing up

oh thats a shame considering you must have spent quite alot of money with them.

a leak on that size ent a good thing to have... hope it all gets sorted soon

right i have found the problem

2 of the return pipes leak water the same 2 pipes they came back to fix on wensday

i have shut the 2 return pipes down so im now running at half speed 10,000 lph

its going to take ages to heat up i turned on the heaters at about 3 pm and the temp was 9 6hours later and its up to 14

not very good pics but if all goes to plan the front should be on by sunday

This is looking amazing and like everyone else I can't wait to see the final results. Such a shame after all of the effort and rushing about that you've done to start falling behind plan on such little niggles. Still it's all going to be very well worth it once it's sorted and you will certainly be one jammy ****** once things are done, and I'm sure many will agree with me.

I can only hope to one day find the space, time and ability to convince the other half to allow me to have a setup such as this!

Well done on the work so far and good luck with the rest, I eagerly await pics of the final results! :good:

T1 i think im going to get one of those hma's that you got, off that site, but do you know when it says hose connector, is it just the standard quick release hose pipe job or is it one of the old screw on ones?
i could screw it to the inside of one of my cupboards and have a pipe going from it up the back and into the tank, and when i do water changes all i have to do is empty the normal 30% and then let the filter run until its full again, that sound about right?
less that £100 for up to 2 years? can't say fairer than that, and like you said when you add it up decent water conditioner does cost a fair bit!

still looking forward to seeing the new paint work! ha, thats sad isn't it!
Hopefully you'll have it before i next come down and then i can see how it works! My RO Units on the go constantly, would hate to be on a water meter!
