Like seffie's he opened up very quickly and looked lovely, I turned on the moonlights and even better, he looked amazing :wub:

Then he decided to go for a walk, I spent all evening watching him moving and squeezing between 2 bits of LR till around 22.30 he finally disappeared behind the LR he came on :crazy:

So went to bed, not to concerned, as This is not unusal behaviour, this morning he was poking out having a look around, so I turned the peice of LR round and he proudly sat on the top, even took some mysis shrimp to munch on :good: great I thought, happy at last.

Nope he's now on the move again, not sure what he is looking for, he's got good flow over him and light, I will just leave him alone now keep an eye on him and hope he finds a nice open spot eventually, were I can :drool: over him :nod:

Thanks BigC, I'm one ahead of seffie, I found that article, some time ago, I have it in my lionfish info folder :good:

I'm spending far to much time on all this research, I am back at work on Saturday, gawds knows how I'm going to cope :dunno:

Oh for goodness sake as if this marine business isn't stressfull enough, I have to go and buy a nem :shout:
Got up this morning, Gone nowhere to be seen, completely disappeared :crazy:
So up go the sleeves, in goes the arm, being attacked from all sides by the clowns and shrimps, and rock moving begins, luckily it was hiding under the 3rd rock I moved, looking very very sorry for itself, completely closed up looking like a blob of gloup :sick:
Quickly got out the test kits and checked everything, all ok. Nitrate still about 10 can't seem to get it down, did a 25% water change.
I put him up higher in tank and aimed powerhead directly at it, slowly he has come out again and he is, for now, staying put :look:

Talk about getting old before my time :alien:
 
Apparently they do do that till they are settled, as you will already know!!

Does not stop you from getting a heart attack a day until it is settled though.

Must say I think you are both very brave, the thought sends me all funny at the moment :sick:

Hope it settles soon, got fingers crossed.

How is Seffies doing??
 
Yes you're right, But it didn't look good :sick: Just hope he settles soon, so I can relax a bit!

Seffie's has been on the move too, think its also in hiding, she'll be along later, when she gets home from work, with an up date :good:

Wow they look well cool. Can't wait till "the book" arrives to read about them. :hyper:

At least they are getting exercise moving about. But seeing those clowns trail it was a laugh.

And If I might indulge myself slightly,
as some of you know I am getting a new Tank for my birthday, which seffie has been organising, now I know nothing about it and nor do I want to till my b'day but this arrived today

OMG Its huge and hidden under sheets and table clothes, sitting in my dining room :drool:
I'm not allowed to look, 3 weeks and counting I will move over to the big boy section and begin a journal.

HOW EXCITED AM I

It does look a bit deflated, I am sure he will settle down soon.

3 Weeks is a hell of a long time to sit looking at tablecloths and sheets.

This will be the Lionfish tank I presume.

How are you doing with Nem Seffie??

Oh Bagu, you told her the secret :lol: Can't wait to see her face when she opens it :wub: if any of you want to do some detective work in the for sale section you will find pictures of the tank, it comes from worcester and whom I bought it from (I know one of you has already found it!) - really lovely chap, will tell whole story after Trods birthday - and there is a tale to tell, as always :blush:

Anyway, Nem still looks lovely but as soon as the lights went off last night he went on the move ---- eeek, it's worrying stuff this nem keeping but oh so fasinating AND the clowns have started to bite me :crazy: they didn't do it before the nem went in but as soon as he went in they started, little, b***ers
