beautiful fish heather. i have a balloon molly like your orange and white. its so big it can barely swim and the males kept harassing it :angry: so i put it in a 10 gal. Im not sure if its ready to drop but it has trouble swimming. any advice?
 
I assume it's a female then. :lol:

I'd just leave her in there for awhile and keep an eye on her. My white one has looked pregnant for two months now and I don't know for sure if she is or not,I can't see thru her skin to see a gravid spot. :crazy:
 
yeah just feel bad, when i got her a while back she was filled with sailfins and my friend claims she cant swim correctly because the sailfin fry are too big...is this true? i checked if she was female by that fin by the anal region. males have that ___________ hanging out pointing back

Hmmm...I've never had balloon molly fry before,but I have had sailfin and regular molly fry and they were the same size. It shouldn't matter while she's gravid,sometimes they just get so huge pregnant they can barely move. :lol:
