You guys dont know spam when you see it? How many times does this guy gotta throw the name of his business out before you start charging for advertising?

All I know is that if I had got the comments that she's got in this thread, I wouldn't be back....Spam, I doubt it...it's nice to treat someone with a little common decency.
 
WOW...i cant believe what i am reading here !!!! this site was recomended to me by a friend..she forgot to tell me i would be treated like this...i have been up 5 nights now with a sick mbu...and bloody begging for help on here and this is what i got..all this site has caused me is more stress...the only decent people on here are sharoncc & rocafreestyler ..the rest of you have just given me abuse...

My name is sharon..i have a very sick mbu puffer...not realy the thing a person would lie about or use as an advertising scam....he is bloody sick and on his side still and all you lot can do is laugh and mock me ...i just cant belive this....

Good god...are you bored!!! is that why you pick on people...with genuine needs for help.
 
Oh and incase any of you are at all worried about my mbu riley...we think he has lost his right eye through laying on his side for so long as we cant see it all and the right finn is also falling apart as he has not been up 5 days now...this is due to laying on the gravel...or do you think this is more bull s__t...riley is very ill and i could do with help and support here...not what you lot are throwing at me...god what have i done to you all to think this ?....wow...i am so shocked...so is the friend that said i should seek HELP on here..
 
So sorry, to hear that he may have lost an eye and fin. Try posting in the TROPICAL FISH EMERGENCIES ...maybe someone who can help will read. What advice did you get from the fish shop that you tried.......

Sharon, I don't suppose you could isolate him and treat with a powerful antibiotic. At this point, there may be nothing to lose, as he's not looking good...

Hi there Sharon, i'm sorry you've had a rough time so far on this forum,
unfortunately as its not posted in the emergency section or the oddball section, I doubt many of the 'experts' in those particular fields have noticed your post at all, if your still having problems then those two forums sections are your best bet for answers.

what are your water stats as of today?
you say above that his fins are falling apart? would you say that he has now suffered from a secondary infection such as finrot or does it look more like ammonia burns ?

If this is real then im very sorry for you it must be like hell reading some of these replys but this is a really good forum i just have to ask though if you knew that riley would need a huge tank eventually why didnt you buy that in the first place the water chems easier to controll and it would of saved you a good few quid instead of selling them off at a loss on ebay

i to have clicked the mouse a few many times lol in the past usually pm'ing someone so sorry you lot and dont worry about it although to some the fact it kept mentioning a fishy firm did look sus

i think you need to find out why the readings went off the scale with your water to stop it happening again hope everything works out for you (again if this is genuine)

I’ll give you some free advice seeing as you like to promote that. The 2 shops you keep raving about I can sum up in one word crap swallows and fishy friends are crap and the people that work there are awful. Your tank is not HUGE as you put it and is not big enough for a mbu or a silver arowana you would think with 20 years experience and being knowledgeable you would know it’s a silver and not a pink edged aro or whatever you called it. God knows why your ammonia is shooting up maybe a power cut or the leftover food in the tank don’t know. What I do know is mbu`s in captivity do just die for no reason no one knows why they just seem to kill over not good I know. But a mbu does need a tank that is allot bigger than yours with pristine water and huge filtration I wouldn’t keep one in my tank either. Best bit of advice I can offer you is to stop moaning on here about the way your being spoken to read some of the pinned articles and research basic fish keeping skills, stop using chemicals to alter your water I do not add anything to my water bar de-chlorinator and most importantly stop listening to the advice of the muppets at the 2 mentioned lfs.
 
Hi, must agree with a lot of the stuff on here.
Firstly, dont waste time and money using chemicals to get rid of the ammonia, you need to do 90% water changes daily and that will be much better for the fish.
Secondly, Id be worried that if the mbu has anything nasty it will infect the other fish so maybe you could seperate them somehow? Habve you got a super-sized quarentine tank anywhere?

Finally, I know you love your fish and think you are doing whats best for him, but imagine being a toddler locked in its bedroom, then adding a living room when its a teenager, then a kitchen when its an adult. Thats in effect what you are doing only upgrading the tanks when you have to.
