Heres my jewel. We just put her in the tank so she doesn't want to come out of her cave. I raised her from fry. She and her brothers and sisters are my pride and joy :D . She is normally bright red and not timid. She hangs out with the gudgeon because she's never been alone. She misses her sisters :byebye: And yes thats the gudgeon lurking in the back ground :p

Isn't carp a fish?Joking ,This is a newly set up tank the pvc comes from an existing tank , they have bacteria benificial to the tanks cycling process on them , and will eventually be covered by plants . It isn't mold , it's algae , besides I don't think the fish can tell, or care . . It's more about the fish to us , not a sterile looking environment , but a natural looking one , these pipes offer places to hide and rest and can be moved without disturbing to much around them , are to me safer then stacking rocks [ some fish like to dig , ever see a flat fish , I have ..not a good feeling ] and like I said the plants , java fern will soon cover the pipes , they will actually grow by attaching themselves to the pipe , and after several months the pipes won't even be seen . Not the showpiece aquariums you guys are used to , but tanks like this in spite of the appearance are very healthy, and I have had good success , 30 years + at it .[ dwarfs dad] .

By the way A.J.B. those are very good pictures of your fish .

What kind of gobies Ryan ? any pics ?

I am getting three Mogurnda Mogurnda Gobies from someone whos pair spawned and these are a few of the off spring. :) I haven't got them yet as I have to finish of the tank stand.

wish they had another 1 or 2 at the store mine came from $12.99 U.S. each is kinda steep however. ..........Ryan , Good luck and good choice. It's really cool when they stretch out their mouth, it looks like a black whole. What size tank are you using for them? What kind of light tube do you think would best show their colors ?They like live food as far as i can tell. Gudgeon talking to reflection:Who do you think you are?
You wanna mess? I'll bite your head off!! :D :p
