Ok, now to my s.fryeri. I have two males, one who's calm and patient...the other is a complete idiot. They're only about 6 months old and yet to figure out who the boss will be. The idiot THINKS it's him but I have a feeling the calm one will rise up and overpower some day

Here's the calm one

:kewlpics: gorgeous colour on the s.fryeri....'the rude one' .....he is stunning.

Those queen botia look really interesting....haven't seen them the shops here. How big do they grow and are they one of the more docile botia or not? I've got zebras, polkadots and clowns and find the zebras to be the naughtiest of them so far ....... but the clowns are growing now and just starting to ignore them :D

Hard to say on the queen's....there's a debate about size, some say 4" MAX others say 8" :dunno: , these are only about 3-4 inches so far and they're quite timid compared to some of the other botia species, but I wouldn't put it past them to be aggressive....they're extremely rough with each other

Honestly...they're one of my most interesting fish and if you ever see any...GRAB EM! They're a hoot!

Thanks you guys  this is my favorite tank to watch, there's always something going on in there :hey:

Inchy~ isn't he pretty, the camera gave him a bit more of a greenish tint, he's actually a stunning bright blue. The smaller, more timid male is a tad deeper in blue and IMO....prettier (in person). Notice the stripes & the black finnage on the second male? He gets those when he's being super aggro... :sly: I've noticed him and the females doing little dances over the past few weeks  ,he's quite full of himself
