thanks for the pics! It's crazy how big their eyes are. Wait a minute, I just looked at my guppy and its eyes are tiny....those must be some really close up pics, cool.

So cute!

I think the eyes look so big because they're big compared to their body. Newborn Zebra Danios are nothing but 2 black eyes and a little translucent tail . The good thing about livebearer babies is that they're much easier to keep alive :p

those babies are big for 6 days old..... mine are about the same size and theyre like 3 weeks old ... what do u feed them? i just feed mine crushed up flakes because they live in the tank with the big boys and girls :kewlpics:

:D the picture makes them look bigger than they are  - I feed them about 3 times daily, and feed some flake, as well as (now that they are bit bigger) defrosted frozen daphnia, and dehydrated brine shrimp. They are in a 5 gall tank with a couple of cories, have to change about a gallon of water each day cos I overfeed  don't try counting them  till I move them or take to lfs. Normally mum and dad stay in the tank with them but it didn't work out this time. :D - sue
