nice fish cane as always, and since youre asking i shall post mine
bumblebee goby
dwarf puffer
couldnt resist i was gonna do a cory eating bloodworm or something but thought that a bit too extreme. at least these are technically oddballs
I'm not sure, I thought they are FW toothx yes they are oddballs brackish aint they? I got one the other day since it was the only one in all the lfs's by me and was in a FW tank so not sure if it'l need a brackish tank? Those are two pictures of mine, both on the wall, they aren't good since it's only a 10$ camera sorryAwesome pics, I always love seeing yours, their the type of fish I want but my parents won't let me have.......until I get older. Is a bumblegoby a oddball?

Whoops I don't know, it's my mom, she's weird like that.sorry i was asking fish r fancy about her new tankO I don't have a new tank, well actually I do but it's 5.5 gallons but my parents won't let me get a larger tank so I can't get any oddballs/predatory fish because I'm not allowed to order fish off the internet, my mom has this thing that they will die and she won't listen to me and the lfs's around me don't stock and won't order smaller one's.

how does your mum think the fish get to your lfs?they are delivered in bags and boxes just like they will be to you
tetra tanksigh, no matter how cool I am, cane outdoes me
Cane, I'd like to see you do something with your 30g like I've done with my 38
the footprint is 36x12x15 right? or is it 36x15x12?
anyways, peacock eels, senegal bichirs, oddball catfish like hoplos or (my perfered) portholes, things like this are oh so fun.
But I'd like so see you get into a bit of planting. All your tanks are such cool boisterous fish that you don't get to plant!
So why not do something where you set up plants and bogwood with java moss for eels to get in.... Get some oddball cat like the flagtail instead of hoplos so your plants don't get messed up the whazoo, and then do some centerpiece fish of your choice?
I did an angel, which I have yet to regret and still love. But that's just two days. I have seen him poke and nip plants, but haven't seen damage come to the plant from it as of yet.
We'll see what you decide. I just can't imagine you doing a tetra tank so I wanted to see an oddball planted tank like mine.
but by all means, do a tetra tank
aint red bellied piranha tetras with teethExodons are tetras
the fish index says they need salt but i have no experience with themI'm not sure, I thought they are FW toothx yes they are oddballs brackish aint they? if youre talking about bumblebee gobies then yes they are a brackish fish, although some people do keep them in FW, but hardly any live for very long and do not thrive. This is my opinion anyway, people have their own.
i cant really see very clearly atm, but BBGs generally only accept live food, some take frozen (personally mine dont).
I think basically the conclusion to the BW or FW debate is that they do just as well in one than the other, but everyone has their own views. Personally i would rather keep mine in brackish because at the end of the day the question on everyones minds is "can BBGs be kept in FW?" not "can BBGs be kept in BW?" and imo, BBGs will probably thrive in an s/g of 1.003-1.005 but if you put them in FW then you cant really be sure, peopl have their own opinions, but why risk it.
