Hi, I have had a tank going since June last year and all has been well. Recently I have noticed 2 of my sunset platys acting strange. At first just one but now both of them appeared to be curved and are swimming round in circles or sitting at the bottom of the tank.Any ideas what is wrong?

Possible swim bladder disease. What are your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels?

Post pictures or video. Colin T will see your post.

It won’t let me upload a video

Probably intestinal worms, gill flukes, and maybe poor genetics. Try deworming them and see if it helps. One might be too far gone but the other might recover.

If you feed the fish more often for the next month, it might help them produce enough blood to survive long enough to be dewormed.

Section 3 of the following link has info on deworming fish.

One was dead this morning - thank you for the advice hopefully we can save the other one!
