Hi all, in the picture below is the Zebra Danio on the right showing signs of feeling in the family way so to speak or is there something wrong with it

both look like healthy females to me

Cheers The-Wolf I was kinda sure they where ok from I’ve read on here & other sites, it's just they blew up so quickly after I moved them into a new bigger tank it was worrying.
I am still worried about one though, it has redish colour around the area I will non-expertly call the anal area will try & get a pick as soon as.Here's the picture i could get any ideas whether this is bad or natural thing. water stat all tip top.

the anus does go a bit red when she is "ripe" (for want of a better word)
I expect her to drop the eggs very soon.

If you wish to try and breed them
checkout my webiste (if you havn't already)
and go to the sexing and breeding page.

Phew what a relief, what a busy tank it is, me Bronze Cory's are showing signs they'll be spawning as well.
I will investigate breeding but may be a little soon for me still getting to grips with it all

Hey just to let you know they have spawned today & my cories yesterday. So I know what to look out for now, how soon roughly will they spawn again? + Do males show any signs that love is in the air?
cheers for your help

they can spawn again within 48hrs
but 4-5 days is normal.

the males tend to do a lot of displaying and chasing and their yellow becomes more vibrant.
