I have two yoyo loachs right now and would like to get more, espectiually seeing they enjoy the company of others. I was wondering if the yoyos will play/interact with other loaches or do they really only prefer other yoyos? If they will enjoy other loaches, does anybody recommand any? I'm looking into a few, but just wanted to know if maybe there some out there i missed. Thanks! Jess

I have two yoyos, two striatas, two angelicus, three skunks and four clowns; they all interact and play together, with no problems.

by tiger loach do you mean a clown loach?

also I see in your sig that you have franky danios; what are they?
do you have any pics?
and I'd love to see a pic of your albino hillstream loach (btw it is a sub-tropical fish)

no i got a large clown, a yo- yo and i think you call it a Striped Loach / Zebra Loach / Thin Line Loach (Botia striata) what ever you want to call it.

I sent you an email this morning about my danio's i got 5 long fin leopard danios 4 male 1 female and they are all attacking her :byebye:

only just got it
Hi just a quick question, i've got 5 leopard danios i think 4 male as they are more golden in colour. 3 of the males keep attacking the female and chasing her (the other male is a geriactric and not capable of chasing anything) is this normal are they breeding or something

yes this is the pecking order sort out; thios will determine the alpha male to see who is the best suiter for the female, she will choose the best, that will give her the best chance for continuing the species.

when she starts to chase the male, she is ready for spawning.

BTW just stick with the scientific name (botia striata) then eveyone knows what you are describing.
