or even better a mrs who'll fight you for the flashlight and tell you to be quiet so as not to scare the tank's inhabitants.

i have to say my marine tank has captured my wife's imagination, she wasn't really fussy about my freshwater tanks. she still refers to things as "pink squishy looking thing" but she was dead impressed when we saw 1 of my hermits change shells. (funnily enough it was 2am, dark and i was holding a torch)

yeah all the cool things happen at night!
