I like my real plants, but plants aren't necessarily for everyone as they may sometimes be difficult to maintain.

i have a platic plant that looks nicer then my real ones, and real ones come out somtimes of the weight, but plastic can hurt the fish. u should have had a both option,lol

Real. No contest. They make it natural and help with amonia, nitrIte and nitrAte.

No to mention the fact they look infinatley better and are cheaper. Or the fact that they reproduce themselves.

I do like both but I picked fake cuz I dont have the same problems keeping them rooted. I glue em to a rock with aquarium silicone, and then burry em. Works like a charm. But if any one likes this idea make very very sure you get actual aquarium sillicone(the stuff they seal the corners of the tank with) because I would imagine normal glue cant be too good for fishies.

i can never get mine to grow i just goo out and buy new ones every time they die... or maybe they are plastic i cant remember, i bet my fish know... lol jk

Real plants just gives it a nice real feeling (If that makes sense) But, I like both real and fake. It just depends on how its done, because it could come out crappy with real plants and or fake plants (If that makes sense too ).
