Ok guys, tank is safely in Mr Trods car (don't ask!) and they left about twenty minutes ago.......................... woo hooo

Trod has taken pictures but we are off out now so she will upload them tonight

YF you will need to buy a new hinge for one of the doors as it now doesn't seem to work properly

Ok, here we go for the big essay!

The tank arrived about 1pm and was all in my room for about half 1-2ish, Set everything up, plugged everything in. I am just waiting for the sand to clear up a little bit as its really bad, then the scaping will begin! I didnt realise it was this big, it doesnt look brilliant in my room but I dont care, I like it. I have two tubs full of LR with a heater in and a powerhead/air stone in each to keep alive until the sand has cleared, then the scaping begins.

Now, seffie - The protein skimmer doesnt seem to be doing anything so what should I do? I have placed the bag of chaeto just above it but the protein skimmer doesnt seem to move or anything... any ideas? I will post some more photos once the rock is in.

YF you will need to reduce the water level BEFORE putting in the LR, else you will have a very wet floor.

Will it not be difficult now full to push the tank back??

Looks good where it is though, presume you can look at it from the bed.

Ahhh, good thinking tina, I forgot about that, you have saved me from a wet floor thanks!
its on laminate floor, so it slides quite easy tina.

also on the 450 the lid slides then goes down the back of the tank so if its the sam with the 450 then i would push it back any further
