Yesterday morning I got up, fed my fish and they were all 3 their. Then I went up in my room at about 3:30 to check on them and one was gone :-( now I only have two and I was planning on getting two gouramis today can I still do that and buy one more danio too?

The same happened to one of my Guppies, just completely disappeared in the space of 12 hours. Talking to various people with aquariums it looks like the only explanation was that it must have been eaten, most probably by the other Guppies. Could well have been the case with your Danios, but I don't know if its in their nature to do so. If thats what happened, and the ondition of your water is ok, I can't see why you can't go ahead and buy new fish.

I know that danios since they are so small to begin with are hard to find. Is there any chance that he jumped out? And have you "torn" your tank apart and looked in all kinds of strange places ? If he were to have jumped out he would be very very small once he had completely dried out. I hope you find him.
Signed,
Sondan

yes Sondan I did "tear" my tank apart looking for him. I had my friend mom and dad looking for him for at least 10 miutes, and before that I looked for him for at least a half hour to an hour. But what I was really wondering is if I can get 1 new Zebra Danio and maybe 1 or 2 gouramis to put in there today.
