Yellows and Demasoni.

Finally got a couple of good pics of demasoni....they are super fast and always in the rocks....just throwing in some yellows for FUN~!

Unfortunately, I don't know what generation they are...but I have had some bad ones that have made their way back to the store....

The links won't work because we are not allowed to link to other forums from here (I believe) Understandably so.

However, I do go there from time to time....feel kind of obligated due to being admin. ) Even though I was forced into it. Anything in particular I should look at?

Thanks DOLORES! I would say that the demasoni are around 2 years old (I have had them for about one) and the yellows are probably around the same...I got them small and have had them for almost 2 years. (Bought them really small)
Big Bird is probably older.

My 13 year old son was looking through our fish books today trying to find some new fish to try. He could not find the picture he was looking for. His exact comment was "I want a tank with the fish like Freshmike has." You have a fan in my house! They are beautiful fish! Thanks for sharing such wonderful pictures.

What you have in the tank right now with them for cichlids looks okay.
Anything that can handle the wrath of them I suppose.

Labs'll work with agrisive mbuna in a large enough tank what size you have, at least about a 50 gallon is recomended for most agrisive mbuna like your auraatus, kennyi and demasoni, although a smaller tank could work i'm sure

Just as long as the populations are up and there are hidey spots for the picked on ones.

Do you know how big the fish get in the second picture... i forgot their names.... . What fish are they good with and conditions. ??

4-5 inches hard alkaline water, so ph of about 7.5 to 8.5
as mbuna they are not community fish, and get 4-5 inches
