Yellow tail and white tail cichlids mating?

Is this possible? I had to get rid of my 2 snow whites because they came way smaller then expected and were getting torn up.

I’ve fallen in love with my yellow tail , now I found some white tail which I would love to get. Can these 2 mate?

Oh I love them , it’s the only way I’ll get fish now. I did luck out tho and they have a location (idk how many there are) 10 minutes from me so I can locally pick up or have it driven to my house for free

I would not do that.

Experience gives me a hierarchy of Rift Lake Cichlids, and every Victorian I've tried has been at the very top of the aggression scale. That is clearly a tough lake to stay alive in, and with any motivation, they'll clean the clocks of any Malawi. I will never again combine the different Rift lakes in a tank.
