Yellow Bristlenose

Hi all, simple one

I've never before seen these yellow bristlenose before! I was just cruising planet catfish...

Where, praytell, could I get one? (preferably a male) anyone seen them in store?

The one currently (loosly) labelled as L144 (yellow with black eyes) - I don't think its been 'offocially' identified yet (at least in the aquarium trade).

L144 whilst probably rarer than your common albino BN should not be that hard to source

Sounds like it cld be a super red even tho the name suggests red it acc yellow with black eyes some have black patterns and some dont my lfs has them in all the time and yes they are very rare

No it's not, a super red morph is as it's titles 'red' and if it's not red then it isn't a super red or a very bad genetically based one.... a yellow one which is being described is a black eyed white/yellow eyed white or L144.... the ones with a black and red pattern (well more orange and black) is referred to as calico and then you have the standard common brown or the albino. None of which are in the slightest rare and nowadays can be sourced from multiple places.

Does your albino have black eyes?

If so it is L144, although it would sadden me if these had been bred to produce long fins now as well.

Mine looks just like that pic to. I got him for 99 cents at my LFS. He was only 2 inches now he's about 2.5 a month later.
