Yearly checkup

OK, both as a mod and as the OP, let's remember to keep things family-friendly and please quit talking about things best left in the bathroom. That really wasn't the point. Thanks. :)

That's more likely to make you a type 2 diabetic than poop more. It was probably the amount of food you ate, which pushes the chime (partially digested food in your intestine) along your intestine and out your butt.
Well see, I've had strange stomach probelms for YEARS now... And anytime I have a lot of sugar or a lot of dairy my stomach goes crazy... I didnt have a lot of food that day... I can have 4 hige slices of pizza and my stomach only gets a light pain... Weird, right?

You have food intolerances. Lactose is a protein in cow's milk and causes all sorts of problems to lots of people. Cheese and cream are mainly fat that don't contain lactose and a lot of people can eat these but not drink cow's milk.

Sheep, goat and camel milk do not contain lactose and might be an option for you.

Other foods that irritate the intestines include wheat, gluten and most grains. Rice and corn are generally well tolerated by all people and do not normally cause problems. You can google fodmap foods for more info about grains.

If you think you might have a food intolerance, simply drop that food for 1-2 weeks and see if it helps settle your insides. You usually notice a major improvement after 48 hours without the food. Check the packaging on food too because a basic food might contain milk powder or something else that can irritate you.

After a week or two without the item, try having some and see how you feel. If you feel unwell, then you have an intolerance to that food.

You can keep a food diary to help you identify items that irritate your gut. Write down the date and time you ate the foods and how you feel at the time and throughout the next few days. Most food intolerances occur several hours after eating the food and some like cow's milk can take 6-12 hours before they do anything, then it's off to the loo.

Yah, but see... I can have a pound of cheese and my stomach wouldnt care, but I have a bowl of cereal and my stomach goes nuts... So part of me believes I have an intolerance but another part of me thinks my stomach is just picky

Maybe you have a problem with gluten or wheat?

very well could be... but if I can have like 4 huge slices of pizza and not have a stomach ache what else is there... I honestly think I just had a sugar overload that day. But I also think I may have a MILD reaction to wheat or gluten and when I have too much my body lets me know

what is in the bowl of cereal that upsets your stomach?
check the ingredients and post them here. it could be nuts, wheat (which if found in most cereals), rye, barley, oats, etc, or the cow's milk.

This thread has gone WAYYY off the OP's topic... I will post them tomorrow maybe... But still, its @WhistlingBadger's thread, and I dont want to intrude too much

Oh, don't mind me; I already said what was on my mind. But it might be a better discussion if you start your own thread.

In other news, I heard back from the doc and my bloodwork shows that my cholesterol is high. Turns out there are edible things that don't have hooves! Who knew?!

Well, they say eat food that comes from plants. Cows and pigs do, in fact, come from plants. I know that because without plants, there would be no cows and pigs. My doctor is strangely impervious to my logic.

My grandpa loooooves meat. He used to eat meat allllll the time. Then he had a quintuple bypass (the doctors said he shoulda died) and now only eats fish and veggies and such:blink:
