Hehe. I just bought another betta from Wal-Mart today. They looked so sad so I thought I'd give him a new home. He seemed to like it and he sure gulped down his food once I got him settled. I love bettas, but they are just like tattoos, addicting. :D I'm so happy. :kana:

And when I figure out how to take good pictures of them, I will post them up here. I swear it has to do with luck. But it's hard because my room isn't lit well for pictures and both bettas are dark colored...oh well, i'll have to give it a try on a sunny day.

lol i have the same problem. When i go tmy first betta, the lady at hte store siad they'll be really addictive, i htought "yeah right.. -_- " a week later i got another one lol, now i want to get a 3rd one..and a 4th one...

*Sigh*

There he is.

My first two male Betta came from Wal-Mart. The first guy lived an okay life in a small bowl though I got too distracted and didn't maintain his bowl well and he eventually died and my second male died yesterday morning of some unknown cause. He was healthy the previous afternoon and then going south that night.

I've since replaced him with a new male from PetCo completely unexpectedly. I posted some pictures of him in a thread asking to identify the type. He looks like a Crowntail or Halfmoon which would make it strange finding him there.

They really are addictive too. I have 2 females in my 30 gallon Cory tank as well. I got one from a Wal-Mart for my girlfriend and one for myself at the shop I used to work at. That's 3 now and 5 total and I'm tempted to buy some more.
