I went to my LFS yesterday and saw a breeding pair of angels there for £30 and thught mmmm they look nice.

I have a 25gallon tank which is 18" tall and will be a community tank with a ruby shark, clown loach a few plecs and the rest i'm not sure of, would they enjoy my tank?

I have a few plants at the moment but planning on some more and have a large bit of bog wood as the centre piece with granite chip substrate :)

Hi
here is what I know about angels, which is not a lot

You need a large tall aquarium with at least 29 gallons of water, a maximum of 1/4 inch of gravel, and an aquarium heater adjusted to so the water temperature is between 78 and 82 degrees F.
The water in this aquarium should 24" deep.

I hope this is the correct information.

I'd agree the tank is to small for a breeding pair with other fish. I kept a breeding pair of Angels in a 55 gallon tank and they pushed all the other fish other the other side so a 25 gallon tank would not be a suitable for them and the other fish. :)

hi :)

it depends relly
because whatever inchrowm says is true but my lfs gets in these relly small angel fish called blushing koi angel fish which are really nice, or sometimes they get in relly relly small normal angel fish, i rekon you could have those for about 3 months

no there's no point gettin a fish for such a small time as 3months.

It got my attention as it was a breeding pair and love having lil babies!!

30 pounds is pretty expensive for a pair of angels isn't it?

you can get them here for $30! and thats a quality pair!

At least Australias good for something

I paid 24 pounds for my pair and they hadn't breed before just shown signs in a group tank so its not a bad price for a tested breeding pair. :)

Yea ATLEAST a 29 gallon tank, and 10 gallons per angel fish would be good :)

Oh well will save that idea for another tank, I'm liking the idea of a krib for my community tank.
