Yay New Betta :)

I have to have a betta so we headed over to the Petsmart close to us to see what they had. I was hoping they'd have some more black ones, but no. Most of them looked awful. I think a disease is spreading to most of them.
Today.... my dear dear hubby drove me to the Petsmart across town. We hate going over there b/c the traffic is AWFUL. Stupid drivers and conjested roads bad.

Anywho.. he complained but god I love him, he took me anyway hehe.
And I found my new little guy.
I looked through them all, but I really wanted either a dark one, or if they had a male this color, a yellow one.... and well.. I saw this fella.

Couldn't really see the coloring that well in the blue water, but he is a pretty one and his tail reminded me of half suns so.. he came home with me

Bad photos... scratches all over the tank so hard to get decent ones. Hopefully when he's used to his new home I will get better shots of him.
I really want to see him flare to see what his tail really looks like.

He's settled really well. Whenever I go by, he's usually still exploring his little tank, and then he pauses to stare at me.
He still hesitant about me, but I think he's figured out that I'm the food bringer heh.

He's made himself some bubblenests though, so taking it as a great sign that he's happy

I'm sorry I didn't reply back!
I'll get a photo of it tomorrow, but it's not gonna look very good.
The crypt plant in the tank is losing its leaves atm, b/c I moved the plant after I had cleaned it out, so all the old leaves are melting. Doesn't look too great lol.
I may put some other kind of plant in the tank, not sure.
Will get photos tomorrow though Ugly or not heh

Alrighty, photo of the tank...

Here it was before the leaves started to melt away. The plant wasn't looking too good anyway since it was in the beginning stages of it

And after. Took one of the stems out of the 125 and put it in there temporarily. Just something for him to rest on if he wants. Also put in a mossball for the heck of it. It was also in the 125, but kept getting blown to behind other stuff, so figured I'd put it in a tank that I could at least see it in heh
We might be going to petsmart tomorrow, so might get a plant for the tank if anything looks good

What the crypt plant looks like now. Hopefully will sprout new leaves soon
