YAY! more fry

Well i posted a few mins another topic. Oh well. The past couple of days been funny. One of my mollies gave birth in the community tank which i saved one fry. Then I had two fry previous. I relased the two into the mama tank which will eventually go into the community tank, except one didnt make it. HE got sucked up in my filter, which made me sad. That means i was down to two fry. One a week old and the other 2 months. When i looked into my community tank the next day to my surpise i had 4 fry i caught and saved from getting eaten. I have a turtle dock with shallow water. The fry tend to hide in those waters. Anyways. woke up and in my maternity tank. I found many fry swimming on the outside of the nursery net..lol. So all together. I have 13 fry. YEY..

Congratualtions - my platy fry are great hiders in the community tank. What colour is ur molly?

Well lets see. Every since i lowered the temps in my tank I get new fry everyday. I had a red sunburst platy give birth to at least 10, My all white molly gave birth to 1, my black marble molly gave birth to 4, my all black balloon molly gave birth to 4, my pepper color fish gave birth to at least 10 more. They are all popping out .AHHHH! lol. so the colors range. i have some all black, ! all white, a lots of babies that havent had any color yet.

to all those little guys. How fun to have all those colors and variety! To save them from the dreaded filter you can rubberband a piece of ladies nylon over the intake hose.

Thank you everyone!! lol.. Last night i got more fry. 60 more.. Oh my!! hole bunch of little ones.. Oh yeah and i did end up putting nylons over one filter and i bought a net bag to clip over the other tank! Now what am i gonna do with 90 fry..lol. Never thought of it..

what temperature did you lower your tank to?
mines at 79 and my molly is holding on to her fry for dear life lol
