I caught a neat short video of my alpha male m.callainos yawning the other day and thought I'd share.



If you have pics of your fish yawning, post them, this could be an interesting thread. :good:
 
thats pretty funny. in the pic for the link, it looks like the cobalt is going to eat the little yellow guy :sick: :sick: :sick: i have never seen my fish yawn or any others

Don't know about yawning but my discus watch TV in the evening when their lights go out!!
yeah my fish tend to look like they do that, probably just attracted to the light :)

:lol: It's possible, he's got the swagger down already. I bet if I dropped a mini remote in there he would take control, and not allow the females to pick the programs. :hey:

I thought i seen my fish yawn the other day.... i woudln't lay money on it tho. LOL..
 
Hahaha, I know my severums do it on occasion, and oh geez, when my arowana or catfish yawn, people fear for their lives. Or at least, I fear for my fingers the next time I go to feed them. =P

I'll see if I can get a picture of it someday, haha.
 
oscars mouth is wider than his body when he yawns. it's quite impressive!
