X Box Kinect

i've been a good girl ( most of the time) and my boyfriend brought me the xbox kinect ( yes i did asked for it) but i've noticed it makes a whirling noise with some of the games. anyone with the same problem? is ok with the sport game and dance central but the active sports and adventures game the noise is so loud i had to turn the volumn up the hear the game music!

Hmm, ours makes a bit of a scraping noise on occasion when the discs are loading but nothing as loud as you`re describing. Have you googled for the X-Box forums? Maybe there`s some info on it there

well its not the kinect then it sounds like the 360 drive on its way out maybe the laser

but is new? i've can't found any thing about it in the xbox forum either. should i get it exchange?

Best thing you can do is return it, it sounds like a damaged fan to me, as you said it only happens in games, which is when it gets hot.
