Wow

I can hardly stand up straight and its hard to breathe and talk. Sneezing is a big NO NO.
I hope you don't suffer from hayfever!

It is so nice to hear something like this (the reply you got, not your personal agony) for a change :D I am also going to look forward to seeing how you interpret their plans :D

Hope your back eases up soon :)

So thats the reason you are taking drugs again Big C. Is the Tramadol helping at all. Do you have some nice muscle relaxants too.

From one in agony to another, hope it eases off soon.

PS That is exactly the type of reaction I would get from the other half too, (laughing that is).

Ah a sympathetic ear.
Yeah still on the Tramadol even more so last week and now something called Baclofen (a muscle relaxant)
feeling a bit easier to-day only the forearms ache from the fall. Off which I laugh about myself, even though I broke some crockery on the way down.
Hopefully I can crack on with the New Build this coming week, It's my birthday (5th Jul) so I hope to get some monetary contributions to the cause

You will always get sympathy here for any pain.

Just been awarded Disablility Living Allowance at Higher rate Mobility, have now applied for the Blue Badge and for my Road tax exemption certificate. At least I will be able to get my car modified now to a left foot accellerator.

I am going to be further crippled in the coming weeks when the right elbow is operated on, cannot take anti-inflammatories because of gastritis and will be without one crutch :shout: . This is going to be a nightmare, will only be able to type left handed, TFF keeping me sane, will have to swap my mouse to left handed operation for a while.

Will not be able to ramble as much as usual.

You will at least be up and about very soon (hopefully for the Birthday).

If you were closer, I could have leant you the other half, he is getting very good at water changes.

You have my deepest symathy Colin, having spent the last 3 weeks bent over double with a muscle spasm myself, I know just how painfull it is. and there is only so much daytime TV you can watch

Cheers T,
It's always good to note that there's always someone worse off than yourself.
I hope you get some relief soon.
If me and your good hubby got together for a waterchange it would probably be over a few beers and there wouldn't be as much confrontational issues

and there is only so much daytime TV you can watch
Yeah it not to the point where I'm analysing the programmes. I'm starting to wonder where Jeremy Kyle gets all those divies

Wow you're in the wars hun too! :(

I can't say it's equal to the pain you two are both suffering from, but I have cronic osteoarthritis in the base of my left thumb and can't use it at all. The whole joint has broken down and I am having a joint replacement (think mini ball and socket hip style prosthesis) at the beginning of August. My OH is going to have to learn how to become good at water changes too

I've never understood why it is that the first thing many peeps do if someone's got cronic back troubles is to laugh

Thanks everone, will let you know when have to goin for surgery. It will be on day case anyway, the worst part is actually the staples across the elbow, as I am skinny, they press against the newly operated on elbow and cause considerable pain.

The Crutches I am using have compressed the Ulna nerve in my right elbow (am right handed too), had the left done last yr. They are going to take the joint apart and re-direct the nerve another way. Its the nerve that hurts like XXXX when you supposedly bang the funny bone. Hence usually they give you anti inflammatories, but I cannot have them not Non steroidals anyway.

The salt may well be getting to us all, its not this in FW is it.
