I actually had to remove her yesterday, only few hours after spitting as she was being very aggressive to them... The mother seem comfortable in the main tank, eating again now...Zippy said:Congratulations
I have kept mum with them for about 24 hrs, but keep an eye on her, if she starts to be a threat to her babies, remove her.
They are supposed to hold for around 3 weeks or longer. Since I didn't catch her holding from day 1, I have no clue how long she actually held.jeystone said:This thread has been most helful
I noticed my psuedotropheus Holding eggs and not eating about 10 days ago. I managed to gently catch her and put her in a 2 foot breeding tank with plenty of caves and gravel. She has been in there about a week now. Still holding the eggs. My question is how long before she spits the fry out?
