Just went to view a tank that was advertised as 2.5 ft long, 1.5 ft wide and 16 inches deep with accessories. but turns out to be 2 ft long, 1 ft wide and 18 inches deep. so alot smaller than advertised any ways she only wanted £10 so i said yeah ill take it.

came with a strip light with starting unit, 100 watt heater, large algea magnet, net, gravel syphon, 2 large bottles of stress coat, air pump and also what i think is an under gravel filter but cant be sure and another green box that i dont know what it is!

any ways i work it out to be a tad over 15 uk gallons, my fancy tailed goldy currently lives in a 13 gallon.

question is would you move him to the new tank for an extra 2 gallons, is it worth the hassle? I am not aloud to set up this tank unless i close a tank. If i dont use it i will store it for when i moveout.

wow long post whoops

Well you have the new tank and it really should take long at all to switch it all over. Fairly easily done  and if the new tank even looks nicer, then bonus and definitely make the effort!

personaly i would. as it will give your fancy tailed goldy a bigger home & we all want to live somewhere bigger (more room for fish tanks then :hey: ) ps sounds like you got a right bargin there :alien:

I think i was a bargain but ill reserve judgement untill i fill it and see if it leaks lol.

if you guys want to hear about a bargain, get this. i went to a garage sale about a month ago, and picked up a 30 long, with an emperor 400b filter, hood with the light strip, and a metal stand, for only 2 dollars. and everything works perfectly fine. although i dougt that i will set this tank up soon, it was well worth it. my sister told me the other week i can have her 240 gallon tank, which will go in our "great room" not quite sure what to put in it once i decide to set it up though. prob some angles with some other chiclids, and it will most deffinitly be a fully planted tank.

Well, think if you could added just 20 more sq yards to your house. Its a small improvement, but still, its an improvement.
