So I've just spent 48.99 on four bettas, today I go out and everywhere has them in dor £2.49!!!!!!! And they were really pretty ones too. I came away with two. I feel stupid now for spending all that money on the others.

Well the ones in the second shop were very nice but the ones I ordered are better looking but when you're skint it's a big difference in price. They didn't have crowntails and I've got 2 coming.

My lfs sell them for £2.99 each Marie,- but they aren't a patch on the girls from bettaboys! If you want something in particular (eg crown tail, dragon, a particular colour/fin type) then normally you wont be able to get it in a lfs. Betta boys will try to get you any fish that you desire! Please don't be disappointed. Wait until you get your new girls and you will see what we all rave about! I've just bought another two from them this morning,- including another one of their home bred Platinum CT's. They'll be here on Tuesday and will be going in my daughter's sorority tank.

Can't wait to see pics of all your new additions!

I know what you mean. I've done that a few times with different fish and then found them a lot cheaper in another LFS. Have never ordered fish online though as I wouldn't pay the postage, unless it was something I really wanted.

Thanks bettaboys ones do look better. One of my girls I got from pets and she's larger I think she's a veil tail. The other I got first from Maidenhead Aquatics and she's very small and docile so far, she looked to be pinky. My girl isn't bothered so far. I might have to watch this new larger one.

I didn't intend to buy anything, I was going just to look with my sister. She ended up spending £30 lol.

Yeah, they also had african dwarf frogs in which I've been looking for for months and finally bought on the net for £12 postage on top! Today they're there in the lfs!!!!!
