Well yesterday around 3 o'clock in the afternoon I did a water change in my betta tank.

After I'd taken the water out I was distracted by a phone call which lasted about half an hour. After that I added the new water, switched everything back on and closed the lid. I checked the temperature around 6 and all was good.

This morning I got up around 7 to get Mrs D off to work......as she came out of the bathroom I heard her shout down something about a large Earwig!

Well, there on the landing all covered in fluff was one of my Armano Shrimps!!!!

Somehow it was ALIVE so I popped him straight back into the tank. 5 minutes later (once he had got rid of the carpet fluff) he was feeding

Love those Super Shrimps


*EDIT* Ha Ha....Just checked the tank now and he is good to go and there is a great big chunk of Wilton on the filter strainer!

LOL. That's cool! And one hardnut shrimp! I used to have shrimps...then a few of my fish took a tasting to them, after i'd had them for over 12 months
