Is this overstocked for a 72 gallon tank us gallons ?
10 neon tetra
5 rummie nose tetra
10 black widow tetra
5 congo tetra
2 pleco
5 corys
10 zebra dianos
5 tiger barbs(green and panda and normal.
Note i have not bough the fish before anyone say yes bring some back.
The tank will have an external canister filter 1000 l/h
the tank will have a big piece of bog wood and lots of live plants and lava rocks for caves.

Thats about 270l (UK)

You will have too many middle dwelling shoaling fish, so take out:
5 rummie nose tetra
10 zebra dianos
5 tiger barbs

Also the plecos, if common, will get too large, and they are also way too messy!

You should get a centre-peice fish aswell or maybe some normal top dwelling fish.

yes about 270 litres.
what other fish would you suggest.i already own therummies they are in another tank at the moment so they are and really want the tiger barbs.
will only get one pleco as i own him already and he is to be put in the bigger tank .

Tiger Barbs a fin nippers, so make sure you keep them in a group of atleast 6.
I would say possibly Dwarf Gouramis, or 2 paired angelfish, again tiger barbs are fin nippers so you would have to be careful when adding them in. :)
Also, 270l is still abit small for a common Pleco :(

There is nothing wrong with the numbers of shoaling fish in the first post. But I'd be careful with congo tetras, I've read they eat anything that fits in their mouth so maybe some of your smaller tetras might be at risk (I don't how big their mouths/throats are).

Also, tiger barbs (and possibly black widows) can limit your stocking depending on how nippy your specific ones end up being.

edit: btw what is a panda tiger barb? ive never heard of that colour morph before

They are like the normal tiger barbs in colour but are a more stream lined shape so they are.
here is a link to one http://www.liveaquaria.com/images/categori...-26112-barb.jpg
have back widows and neon in another of my tanks with congos and all are ok.
pleco is only small now so he is.he will only grow to 6 inches i was told in the shop.
