I have just decided that i'd like a few otos in the 55 gal, mainly has the back of the tank has a fair bit of algae growing up the back, which i find hard to get too to clean it off...

Would this be a good idea? i've been reading up and am aware they also need a good diet as well has algae.

All my fish appear peaceful to each other and this tank as been running since last July.

Thanks :)

hi, otto's would be fine in the tank. i'm not sure if they would clean all of the algae off your glass, but they do a great job of keeping plants leaves clean. i would recommend getting a large group of them, maybe about 10, as they are a shoaling fish, and feel much more secure in a group. you can feed them algae wafers and blanched veggies.

cheers :good:
