Hi!!!

I go a 28 gallon tank which is divided as my betta kills anything that moves, would it be ok if I put another filter on betta’s side because there a more alges and the water looks a bit blurry on the bettas side on the other side water looks clean because there is a big filter running and a pleco running around cleaning the glass and the rest I think the divider is preventing from letting the water pass though even if there are small holes on the divider but I don’t thing its helping

It will be fine to add a small filter on his side (what a punk! ). All of my tanks have at least 2 filters, some have 3 or 4  I love filtration, but bettas don't so make sure you get one that's adjustable :)

i have 2 aquaclear 300's on my 75 and they clean the tank very well and move the water around fairly well and they are adjustable so that would help with youre betta i would reccomend 2 of the aquaclears

300 means 300 gallons of water per minute. This of course, assumes there's no resistance to the water travelling path. With sponges (and other media) inserted, this rate will drop.

Two filters are better than one. As long as your fishes can handle the water current, more the better.

:D Pretty sure that number is per hour... 300gal a minute through a tube that small is pretty impossible using a simple impeller. With flow like that, you'd have more fish stuck to the end of the filter tube than you had in the tank to start with.

/Wishes he could figure out the PSI really quickly...

I run two filters on all my moderate to heavilly stocked tanks as a precaution now after losing a lot of fish when a filter failed while i was on holiday.

i had my ten gallon divided and had to medicate. i used those green fizzy tabs(jungle fungus cure i think). the water does not circulate through those silly little holes in the divider. after 12 hours one side still had no green color in the water.
