Would A Snail Survive With A Crayfish?

I have a 10 gallon tank for my crayfish, and it seems sort of empty after a year, and I was wondering if it would be at all possible to put a snail in his tank? I also have an algae problem in that tank, and I was just wondering if it would be at all possible.

Also, if the cray would attack/eat the snail, would it be at all safe to put any species of shrimp in there? or would it attack those too?

Wouldnt put any shrimp in there, they will become lunch..My breeding pair share their home with many apple snails, and Iv never had any problems.
Each one is different though so be cautious.
