Are there any worthwhile books on corydoras that are good to get whether it be for identification or more information?? I know aqualogs are meant to be good, but anyone own one that is good?

Hi lilacamy931 :)

I love browsing through the Aqualog books. I'd like to recommend Ian Fuller's (Coryman), "Identifying Corydoradinae Catfish" as well. It's a beautiful book.

Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for it on Ebay?

I have just treated myself to a copy off of Ebay for £20 inc postage (bargain!) I think it canbe found on Amazonfor a little more

The one problem with books is that they do get outdated. When it comes to corys, there are still new ones being discovered and others being identified. Names are sometimes changed too. Still, they are a pleasure to look through and IMHO, a good investment if for no other reason than that.

I just looked on Ebay and came up with no results - you must have pipped me to it
Will keep an eye out for another one coming up. I found a copy on Amazon for £26 or so

I believe that CW009 aka Green Laser, CW010 aka Peru Gold stripe and CW014 aka Red laser are in the book. I believe the CW009 pic might even be mine. I know I have a few, in there. lol. - Frank

Seriously Frank?!! You are full of surprises  Sorry ChrisCook! There will be more! There is another one on there but for £32

i also got it for £20 + p&p, cheapest i could find it i the UK

Is there more than one edition of this book, Coryologist? Mine is copyright 2005 and that's before there were CW numbers.

I did see (just on a quick browse) one of your lovely pictures of an albino sailfin C. paleatus and a couple in the back that were not yet identified. I can't find the others in there either.
