I went to one of my local shops, but def not my fav, to buy a few plants and fish. They had an offer for 25 fish (tetras etc) for a certain amount which I can't remember, this obviously saves how much per fish you spend. Upon finding an assistant (which took a while as they were all talking together) I asked her to get the fish I wanted. She then said 'well we wouldn't recommend adding 25 fish at one time, you would be better off buying them in sets of 10'..... SO WHY ADVERTISE 25 IN A DEAL!!!!!! I mean seriously, if it isn't recommended by them why would they advertise it. I then told her they are going into different tanks anyway, to which she still said you shouldn't buy 25 at one time. When I said I would be ok as tanks are cycled etc she said 'fine but I won't guarantee these fish' (they have a 7 days guarantee).
If they don't want to sell 5 at once, why advertise them in a deal!!!!! And she could have been more polite about the 'advice' she was giving! I won't be going back again!
