Worms??

Hi peeps, I'm sure you experienced aquarists will be able to diagnose the following worrying symptom
I have many... min. of 50 - 100 small white worm looking organisms, roughly around upto 5mm in length floating around in my tank, and the majority gliding/moving around on the glass!!!
I know they're probably worms of some sort, but are they endangering the well being of my inmates??
How do you get rid of these unsightly pests??

Sounds like planaria. They are harmless and are the result of overfeeding. Do a wc and cut back on the amount of feedings.
